I went to Hong Kong with my family in December 2001. This was the first time that I went abroad by plane. This trip cost me around 10 thousands RM but I brought back a sweet memory after returning from Hong Kong. My family and I really enjoyed the trip to Hong Kong.
Hong Kong was reputed as The Pearl Of The Orient. It was a British colonial since 1842 after the signing of the Treaty Of Nanjing.
Hong Kong had been returned to China in 1997. Before the transfer of sovereignty, the residents of Hong Kong worried about their future. The government of China reassured them by promising to maintain the status quo.
Today, the charming Hong Kong still remain the same as before. You can sing and dance as usual. You even can bet on horse races as you like.
This article is the preface of my Hong Kong trip. I will write about all the places in Hong Kong that I had visited one by one.
