Besides Bersih Co-chairperson Ambiga, Bersih steering committee member Hishamuddin Rais was one
of the honorable guests of the Malacca Bersih and Anti-Lynas Concert.
Hishamuddin Rais was actively involved in student movement during his studies in University of Malaya. He had been arrested and detained for years by Barisan Nasional government under Internal Security Act.
In his speech, Hishamuddin Rais urged Malacca people to report the ghost voters during the coming general election. Apart from that, Hishamuddin Rais also appealed to crowd stand up bravely to fight for democracy in Malaysia.
Malaysians must make the right decision for the 13th general election. For the benefit of our future generation, we need to support Pakatan Rakyat to put into effect the two party system.
