During my trip to Sabah KK, besides sightseeing and food hunting, I also detecting the political
wind shift in "Land below the Wind".
Wandering in KK for three days and two nights, I was trying to understand the lifestyle of Sabahans. Mentioned about commodity prices and political situation, KK public all happen to coincide and deeply dissatisfied with the ruling authority.
Listening to elderly recounted the stories of former Chief Ministers of Sabah, the success or failure of them was truly exciting and interesting.
Based on the information I received, Sabah BN government handing out candies too but the wind of change is super strong especially among Chinese residents in urban area.
Although Sabah is the traditional fixed deposit of BN in terms of votes but the present status is totally different with the past.
The result won't be known until the ballot boxes are opened.

Visiting Sungai Lembing in peak season, you have to book a hotel in advance. Or else you will have problem looking for accommodation in Sungai Lembing.
Sungai Lembing is quite far away from town. It takes few hours for traveling back and forth. In case you were in Sungai Lembing and couldn't get any lodging, you have no choice except leaving Sungai Lembing. Driving along the narrow and winding road at night, you must be super careful and skillful in driving.
Apart from Country View Inn and Lembin Village Resort, Sungai Lembing Rest House is another alternative.
Sungai Lembing Rest House located at the Sungai Lembing town center but the building is quite old. If you don't mind the construction date of the building, you can consider staying in this rest house.

Zaanse Schans is a
renowned tourist destination in Netherlands. It's located at about 14 km northwest of Amsterdam.
Leaving Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the coach driven by Hungarian driver Peter headed to Zaanse Schans. The weather is fine when we arrived at Zaanse Schans. I got off the coach to take a deep breath of free and fresh air in Europe.
Besides the quaint windmills, the Zaan River view is truly killing. Zaanse Schans is relocated along the bank of Zaan River.
The buildings in the village are replica of Zaanse village of the seventeenth and eighteenth century in Netherlands. Walking around in Zaanse Schans, really like going back to ancient Netherlands.

Sekinchan Bagan Fishing Village is pretty interesting. Beyond savoring fresh and
delicious seafood, you can widen your vision on fishing village.
Looking at photograph, perhaps you might think that the man was repairing fishing net. Actually it's not. Based on the information disclosed by the boss in the photo, he was processing the new fishing net.
Before utilizing the fishing net, it has to fix with coarse rope. The boss was truly capable in doing this job, or else he would hurt himself.
We dined at Myeongdong
Well-Being Rice Cafe in Seoul after leaving rainy Suwon.
Arriving at Seoul, we deposited our luggage at Sejong Inn and headed to Well-Being Rice Cafe for lunch. My son ordered two big bowls of bibimbap. I can't remember what type of bibimbap because it was the story of few months before.
Apart from Super Lobster Restaurant I had blogged previously, there are many restaurants
providing fresh seafood for seafood hunters in Sungai Rengit, Pengerang.
You Kee Seafood Restaurant is one of the seafood restaurants in Sungai Rengit. This restaurant had been highly recommended by Singapore MediaCorp Channel U television program. The service of You Kee Restaurant is too bad after the television program was brocasted.
Based on the information of Cari Chinese Forum, quite many members of the forum unanimously impeached the arrogance of You Kee Restaurant.
Good Luck Seafood Restaurant is located at Jalan Teluk Ramunia, Sungai Rengit. During our seafood hunt in Pengerang, we had one of our meals at this restaurant.
We ordered a fish, a pot of Chinese tea and a plate of fried sweet potato leaves. This meal cost us RM 54.60. The fish was black in color and with strong muddy taste. I asked the waitress what's the name of the fish. She also had no idea and told me that is a black fish.
Beautiful Village Seafood Restaurant is located opposite Sungai Rengit Square. We had our dinner at this restaurant.
I always have sensitive stomach problem, I rushed into toilet after taking the food. Luckily my wife's immunity is good enough, if not we will protest our dissatisfaction to the boss of the restaurant.
Jade Garden Seafood Corner is another seafood restaurant available in Sungai Rengit. However, according to a local hotel owner, you have to check your wallet before stepping into this seafood restaurant or you will regret.
Straits View Seafood Restaurant is located at Jalan Besar, Sungai Rengit. From the feed back of a Sport Toto sale person, Straits View Seafood Restaurant is another choice. I didn't visit this restaurant so I have no comment.
Besides Straits View Seafood Restaurant, there is another seafood restaurant located at Jalan Besar of Sungai Rengit, that's Hyann Seafood Restaurant.
Passing by Jalan Besar of Sungai Rengit several times, Hyann Seafood Restaurant was crowded with customers. It seems that the foods of this restaurant are delicious.
My wife specially went to Malacca Jonker Street to purchase a few boxes of mooncake during Mid-Autumn.
Sunday morning, my wife opened one of the boxes and was surprised to see the mold on the mooncakes. Luckily she didn't eat any of these mooncakes, or else she might have to see doctor to solve food poisoning.
After checking the box, there wasn't any expiration date and manufacturing date. I called to inquire the cake shop which is located at the popular tourist attraction in Malacca. The vendor told me that the mooncakes were edible within two months.
The mooncakes were bought not more than two weeks ago but already added with three different types of mold. These molds were green, black and white in colors.
Selling contaminated food is immoral. Besides that it will drastically impact the reputation of Malacca tourism and the unique niche of the cake shop.

Kota Kinabalu or "KK"
is the capital of "Land below the Wind", Sabah in East Malaysia. The city was
formerly known as Jesselton and in Malay was Api which means fire.
Located at the west coast of Sabah facing South China Sea, Kota Kinabalu is truly an epic destination with profuse tropical mountains, sunny beaches and crystal clear sea for you to explore.
My son returned from Suwon of South Korea during Mid-Autumn. My wife and I joined him to Kota Kinabalu for 3 days 2 nights tour. While in Kota Kinabalu, we were busy wandering around the city and hunting for delicious local food.
The flight took off from Air Asia Sepang LCC Terminal in the morning on October 2. We arrived at KKIA Terminal 2 at 1:30 pm. After buying a taxi ticket at airport taxi counter, we were heading to Hotel Eden 54 at Gaya Road.
When it comes to
lodging in Sungai Lembing, you can consider Lembin Village Resort which is
located on the other side of Lembing River opposite Sungai Lembing town.
Besides Country View Inn, Lembin Village Resort is another choice for you when you are on holiday in Sungai Lembing. As I had booked a room at Dynasty Inn in Kota Bharu, I couldn't change my East Coast traveling plan. Or else I would like to stay at Lembin Village Resort and hanging around in Sungai Lembing for another day.
Although I didn't stay at Lembin Village Resort, the owner of the resort Mr. Vinson Chow was very friendly to us.
Lembin Village Resort was converted from a bungalow building. Outdoor barbecue space is available and karaoke is provided at the living hall. It can't be denied that Lembin Village Resort is pretty ideal place for having gathering or birthday party with friends.
Despite of the cozy as well as tranquil of Lembin Village Resort but it's too bad because the location is quite far away from Sungai Lembing town. You have to cross Lembing River through an old wooden bridge.
If you don't mind the distance of Lembin Village Resort, you can think over this resort.

After snapping a few
shots outside Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, I immediately jumped on this red coach
and started my trip in Europe.
10 days 7 nights Europe escaped, we traveled all the way from Amsterdam to Paris by this coach. Based on the information provided by tour leader, the coach driver, Peter is a Hungarian. Didn’t take photo for Peter, if not I can post for sharing.
We were wandering around in Amsterdam for three days. After that we left Amsterdam and headed to Belgium on the fourth day. On the way to Brussels, we stopped in Bruges for lunch. Stayed one night in Belgium, the next morning we went to Paris.
The journey through Netherland, Belgium and France was pretty long fortunately Peter is a skillful and responsible driver. The coach drivers in Europe observe traffic rules and regulations strictly. They are hardly work overtime and reckless driving otherwise have to face severe punishment.
Accidents involving express buses often occur in Malaysia. Is this because of Malaysia Boleh?

Bagan Fishing Village
is located around Bagan Road in Sekinchan. Most of the villagers are fishermen
or engage in fisheries-related industries.
Arriving in Bagan Fishing Village, you will see a lot of fishing boats in different sizes. These boats moored orderly at the jetties. Just like vehicles on land, every fishing boat has an ID. The ID of Selangor fishing boat starts with SL and the ID of Johor fishing boats starts with JH.
The fishing boat is returning from catching and sailing toward harbor. When the boat arrives at the jetty, all the catch will be unloaded. This fishing boat must be using trawling method. The trawlers from Pulau Ketam begin operating at dawn and returning to harbor before sunset.
